The M850 radial uses a deep 24/32-inch tread for long original mileage. Since many fleets remove on/off-highway tires because of excessive heel-and-toe wear, the M850 uses a specially designed block/rib tread pattern for long, even wear on a variety of road surfaces.

An ultra-wide tread gives M850 superior flotation, even on heavily loaded steer axle positions. The bigger footprint also distributes weight and wear forces over a larger area, promoting even tread life when used on any axle position.

A notched shoulder design bites into soft surfaces while the assertive block/rib tread pattern provides a solid grip and superb wet traction.

To enhance casing life, groove-bottom platforms help prevent trapped stones from pushing into the tread grooves and piercing the belt layer, which can damage belts and expose them to rust.

Special tread compounds offer resistance to road debris for longer original mileage and superior casing life.

Computer-designed tie bars link tread blocks to their neighbors, reducing block squirm and irregular wear, while the tread pattern optimizes itself as it wears to promote long, even wear.

The new M850 On/Off-Highway radial is available in 11R22.5 and 11R24.5 sizes with an “H” load rating.
