(Nashville, Tenn., 09-06-06) - Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) announced today it has purchased Virginia-based White Tire. The dealership sells passenger car, light truck, commercial truck, off-the-road and retread tires in Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina and Tennessee. White Tire has six auto service centers with maintenance and automotive repair services, eleven commercial tire operations and six retreading facilities.
White Tire LLC, a newly created company within the BFNT family, will continue operating under the name White Tire. BFNT anticipates a seamless transition and plans no changes to the operating structure or management of the corporation. Customers will see the same high level of service they have always experienced from White Tire.
